Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Ann-Marie Moore welcomes visitors to Broadgreen Primary School, describes it as a caring, inclusive school that aims to Inspire, Challenge and Empower pupils, and emphasizes high standards, a broad curriculum, and opportunities for pupils to excel and enjoy their time at the school.

Curriculum Highlights

National Curriculum core subjects: Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science and Computing, plus foundation subjects History, Geography, Design and Technology, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education and Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education. Modern Foreign Language: Spanish (Kapow) taught to KS2. Safeguarding and wellbeing emphasis including PSHE, P4C, Mental Health Gold, Attendance Quality Mark and ADHD Friendly School.

SEND Provision

SEND: Miss A McClune is SENDCo (currently on maternity leave); Acting SENDCo is Miss C Murphy; The SEND governor is Jen Norris. The school provides a SEND policy, Graduated Approach, SEN Report, Accessibility Plan and Inclusion Quality Mark Report. Interventions are offered through termly pupil progress meetings and additional support groups; pastoral care is provided by Pastoral Support Officer Ms Dickson; Liverpool Local Offer and related links are available.

Admissions Criteria

Admission number is 30 (as indicated for 2026). The school is a Trust School and follows the Primary Admissions Code. If under-subscribed, all applicants will be admitted. Priority order: 1) Children in the care of the local authority (LAC); 2) Children or families with exceptional medical/social needs; 3) Children who will have a brother or sister in the school; 4) All other applicants. Distance from home to main entrance is used to determine ties, with proof of address required if necessary. In-Year admissions and nursery spaces are subject to availability; visits to the school are encouraged.
