The school follows the Liverpool Graduated Approach with three connected curriculums (Formal, Semi-Formal, Pre-Formal and Pre-Formal Plus); SENCo guides support; interventions include Bucket Time, Communication groups, and individual/small group sessions; works with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational and Physiotherapists, Specialist teachers, Sensory support services, Community Nurses; emphasises parental partnership and regular reviews.

Reception admissions are co-ordinated by the Local Authority; applications are online via Liverpool City Council; published admission number is 30; closing date in January; Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) requires EHCP; Local Authority determines allocations; EHCPs are read by school staff to assess suitability for ERP.
