"Nurture, Inspire, Succeed"
As a Catholic School, we place a strong emphasis on creating and sustaining an ethos based on Christian principles. Care, understanding and respect for each other are paramount, and we aim to nurture and develop positive spiritual, moral, social and cultural attitudes within our school community. Religious education and collective worship are central to the life of our school, whilst reflecting the rich variety of religious traditions and diversity of our society.
SEND is provided through an Inclusion Team. If concerns are raised, staff identify the child’s needs and may complete an identification form, after which the child will have a personalised provision plan (PPP) with achievable targets. The PPP is reviewed termly in a Plan-Do-Review cycle, and after 12 months progress will be reviewed to decide next steps, including whether the child should be removed from the SEND register. The school uses a range of strategies including class rules/Charter, School Behaviour Policy, working with the Learning Mentor, Restorative Practice procedures, and close work with the Behaviour Outreach Service. Further information is available via downloaded SEN information and policies on the site.
