Welcome to Evelyn Community Primary School. The Headteacher, Miss Sandra Macleod, invites tours of the school and highlights the ARCS Curriculum, partnerships with parents and the community, and a commitment to high attainment and STEM. Clubs
The after-school club is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3.15pm-5.15pm. The club is available for children from Reception to Year 6. Typical activities include: Art and craft activities; Sports activities and team games; Lego and construction; Board games. The children will be offered a light snack and drink. It is essential that pupils are booked into the Bright Owls After- School Club in advance by using the Parentpay system to book and pay for sessions. Fees and Payments: £7.00 per session, payable in advance. Late collection charges: Up to 15 minutes £3, 15–30 minutes £6, Over 30 minutes £20.
SEND provision at Evelyn CP School includes early identification and intervention to maximise progress, a broad and balanced curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs, an accessible learning environment, development of independence and life skills, and staff training for SEND. The school works with parents, carers and external agencies to tailor support for pupils with SEND. Support options include Specialist teaching assistants, Well Being Counsellor/ELSA, Speech and Language support, a Therapy Hub for complex needs, and co-working with external professionals such as Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.
School lunches are £2.40 per day (paid via Parent Pay). All children from Ladybirds to Owls class are entitled to a free school meal.
