Welcome message from the headteacher describes Ravenscroft as a happy, safe place where every child can develop talents and reach their full potential, with a focus on personal and social development, respectful relationships, and a strong partnership with home; visits to the school can be arranged via the school office.

Curriculum Highlights

Reading is prioritised across all areas with key vocabulary on working walls. Strong focus on phonics for younger pupils; support for SEND, EAL and those new to country. A range of after school activities and experiences such as fieldwork, educational visits and visitors to school. Curriculum is inclusive of pupils with SEND; emphasis on retrieval practice and over-learning of knowledge. Pupil progress is monitored with interventions to support those who need additional help.
