Head Teacher's Message

Eastfield Primary School is a 2-form entry school for children aged between 4-11 years old (Reception to Year 6), close to Wolverhampton City Centre in the East Park Ward.

Curriculum Highlights

Mathematics is taught through a ‘mastery’ approach from EYFS to Year 6. Swimming is part of the PE curriculum and all children in Year 5 go swimming. Reception follows the new EYFS framework (as of 1st September 2021) with seven areas and Early Learning Goals. Zones of Regulation is used as part of the school’s digital curriculum to develop self-regulation. A broad and balanced curriculum including Mathematics, English, Science, Geography, History, Design Technology, Art and Design, Music, PE, MFL (French) and Computing, with RE based on the Wolverhampton Agreed Syllabus, PSHE and Health Education (RSE). Whole School Curriculum Overview and progression for each subject are provided (e.g., Art and Design, English, History, Maths, Physical Education, Science, etc.).

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Before and after school childcare is provided. Breakfast Club: 8:00am – 8:45am; After School Childcare: 3:20pm – 5:30pm. Session 1: 3:20pm – 4:30pm; Session 2: 3:20pm – 5:30pm. Registration by email to the Wrap Around Care Manager or via the QR code on site. Confirmation email sent after registration. Fees: Breakfast Club £3 per session or £10 per week; After School: Session 1 £5; Session 2 £8.
