Ethos & Values

"Let Your Love Show"

Loving Community Loving Learning Loving Service Respect Perseverance Honesty Friendship

The Schools of St Alphege are Church of England voluntary aided schools with a Christian foundation. Our patron saint is St. Alphege, Archbishop of Canterbury in 1006, who inspires reconciliation and social justice. Our Christian foundation underpins the education we provide, and the federation aims to live by love. The vision Let Your Love Show underpins our approach, with daily worship and alignment to the Church of England ethos; teaching and community life reflect Anglican practices and partnerships with the Diocese and parish church.

Head Teacher's Message

Executive Headteacher Mr. Sam Smith welcomes families to St Alphege CE Schools, describes the federation as a loving Christian community, and highlights high expectations, partnership with parents and church, and inviting visits to witness learning in action.
