Curriculum Highlights

Computing curriculum has four strands: Essential Skills, Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy. The curriculum is taught discretely and cross-curricular when clear links with other subjects are present. It uses a spiral progression model to ensure new learning builds on prior knowledge and prepares pupils for what they will learn next. Pupil learning is assessed through Seesaw, pupil voice opportunities, and both formative and summative assessment; dedicated Computing leader time.
