Head of Pre-Prep Mrs Tracy Horton welcomes families to Bablake Pre-Prep, emphasising six-acre grounds, nurturing environment and love of learning.

Wraparound care is available 7:45am–8:30am and 3:30pm–6:00pm daily; there is a charge for this (£3 per 30 minutes) and a holiday club is run by an external provider and charged separately.
Our dedicated Learning Support staff work closely with form teachers, creating a flexible support structure; For identified students, Individual Support Plans are created and carefully managed to ensure support provided is effective but well‑rounded, addressing the unique needs of each pupil.
Scholarships are based on academic performance; bursaries are means-tested and based on financial need; Year 7 entry requires an entrance exam; Sixth Form scholarships are available (Academic, Art, Performing Arts and Sports); entry requirements vary by year group; 11+ entry deadline for Year 7 is 31 October; sample entrance papers are available; interviews form part of the process; for Sixth Form, minimum typically five Grade 6 (or equivalent) passes with offers at Headmaster’s discretion.
