SEND Provision

The pupil premium is government money designed to help disadvantaged children and young people do well at school. The funding is allocated to schools for children from Reception to Year 11 who have registered for free school meals in the last six years, are in care or have parents in the armed forces. How is it spent? We identify the barriers to learning of our Pupil Premium pupils and use our assessment data to identify where best to target the funding to secure the best outcomes for all of our pupils. We also use research information to determine the strategies that have proven impact on pupil progress and raised attainment. These will include: strategies to improve quality first teaching such as the introduction of the White Rose Maths, National tutoring programme for interventions, Enhanced staffing to target interventions, Pastoral support for children. Some children may need financial help so that they can take part in trips and activities and we support families with this where possible. For details please view or download our Pupil Premium Strategy 2024-27 document: Pupil Premium Strategy 2024-27
