Headteacher Miss L Kelman welcomes you to Stoke Heath Primary School, describing the school as a safe, vibrant, high-expectation community with a caring ethos and strong focus on relationships and learning. The school emphasizes happiness, wellbeing and achievement, is oversubscribed, and invites visits to see the school in action.
SENCOs: Miss L Boulstridge and Mrs C Baggott. We are a mainstream primary school, with 25% of our children having special educational needs. Children are identified as SEND for a wide range of reasons. We implement targeted interventions and Individual Education Plans which help support children’s development and accelerate their progress in their area of need. Admissions are managed by Coventry City Council. Priority categories include: looked-after children; children in the catchment area with an older brother or sister at the school; other children in the catchment area; other children by distance. Nursery price options: Morning/Afternoon session £20 (8:30–11:30 or 12:15–3:15). Morning/afternoon session including lunch £24. All-day £33. If eligible for 30 hours funding, funded hours cover 8:30–2:30 Monday–Friday, with an option to pay £4 to stay until 3:15pm. A light snack (fruit and a bagel) is provided; water and milk available; nursery children staying for lunchtime must bring a packed lunch. 15 hours funding available for 3–4 year olds; 30 hours funding available; 2-year-old funding may be available. Reception onwards has separate admission and funding arrangements. School meals are paid in advance via School Gateway. Educational visits may require voluntary contributions; charges may apply for damaged or lost items.
