"Omnibus omnia: be all things to all people"
St Paul’s is a Catholic school for girls situated in the Archdiocese and within the city of Birmingham. It exists primarily to assist Catholic parents in giving their children a good Catholic education so that they may lead fulfilled lives, which promote the common good of society. Catholic education means that every aspect of school life is permeated by belief in a loving God; all persons are sacred because each is made in the image of God and therefore deserving of respect; all creation is an expression of the goodness and love of God; all are entitled in justice to develop fully as persons with equality of access to the Curriculum. Prayer, the Eucharist and other liturgical celebrations have a central role in school life. The school aims for high quality teaching and learning, encouraging excellence, graceful growth in self-discipline, respect, enlightened stewardship of the environment, and service to family life, the local community, the Church and society. The purpose and resources of the school are regularly reviewed.
Headteacher Dr D E Casserly welcomes visitors, expresses pride in the school, describes St Paul’s as a unique all-girls Catholic school in Birmingham, and emphasizes faith, community, high standards and doing the very best for the children.
