SEND provision identifies and supports pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The SENCo is Mrs Fowler. The school coordinates training and specialist support for staff, monitors progress, liaises with professional agencies, and ensures wrap-around provision from 0-25 with Education, Health & Care Plans when appropriate. Parents are kept informed, and termly SEND School Support Review Meetings take place. Resources include a range of supportive ICT interventions, handwriting support, speech and language activities, visual timetables, small group interventions, and other approaches to meet diverse SEND needs.
The school follows current admissions arrangements. If there are more applications than places (oversubscription), published oversubscription criteria are applied as set out in the current year’s admissions arrangements. If there are no places, children are placed on the waiting list for the appropriate year group (waiting lists are discarded at the end of the academic year, 31 August). Full details of oversubscription criteria and how places are offered can be found in the admissions documents. In-Year applications are handled via an In-Year (School Transfer) Application Form with evidence (birth certificate, baptismal certificate, proof of address). The school also provides information for Reception and Nursery admissions.
