Chad Vale follows the Birmingham local RE policy. Religious Education is taught using the Birmingham Agreed Syllabus for RE and includes dispositions that promote character; the syllabus covers nine religious traditions (Bahá’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Rastafari, Sikhism) and established non-religious worldviews such as atheism/humanism; aims to promote respect for diverse beliefs and cultures.
