Head Teacher Welcome: The Headteacher welcomes visitors and states that children’s welfare is the number one focus. Lozells aims to provide exciting, rich learning opportunities, support children’s personal interests and talents, celebrate effort and achievement, value hard work and commitment, and help each child to succeed. The school seeks to develop children as honest, forgiving, kind citizens and emphasizes strong partnerships with families.

Admissions Criteria

Admission criteria: Any child with an Education, Health and Care Plan named in the Plan is admitted to the named Lozells School. Oversubscription criteria: 1) Looked after children or those who were previously looked after (with related adoption/residence/guardianship arrangements); 2) Children who have a brother or sister already at the school; 3) Children who live nearest to the school, with distance measured by straight-line distance from home to the main entrance, priority given to nearer homes; offers are made according to these criteria when vacancies occur.
