Ralph Dalton, Headteacher, welcomes visitors and highlights Snaresbrook Prep’s reputation for academic excellence and outstanding pastoral care. He describes the school’s threefold purpose to help each child achieve academic potential, nurture character, and inspire confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. He notes the school’s integration into the Forest Group of Schools in September 2025, which enhances the curriculum while preserving the school's identity, values and close-knit community, with automatic right of entry to Forest at 11+ subject to progress.

Admissions Criteria

Informal visits are allowed for prospective parents to get a feel for the school and see the children at work. Parents can contact the office on 020 8989 2394 to arrange. The school holds two general open days during the year, usually in March and October; no appointment is necessary; families will be shown around by one of Year 6 pupils and will have the opportunity to speak to staff as they go around the school.

Financial Information

Autumn Term 2025: Lower Foundation Stage £4,910.00 (Lower Foundation Stage fees exempt from VAT); Upper Foundation Stage & Year 1 £6,374.40 (incl. VAT 20%); Years 2, 3 & 4 £6,664.80 (incl. VAT 20%); Years 5 & 6 £7,018.80 (incl. VAT 20%). Lunches charged separately at £460 per term. The 15 hours Early Years Grant is payable to families in our Lower Foundation Stage and is deducted (£1,218.00) from the Autumn term fees. For Spring Term 2026: Lower Foundation Stage £5,057.00; Upper Foundation Stage & Year 1 £6,565.20; Years 2, 3 & 4 £6,865.20; Years 5 & 6 £7,228.80 (all incl. VAT 20%). The 15 hours Early Years Entitlements deduction is £957.00. Additional charges apply for Before & After School Care and some Extra Curricular Activities; trips are priced and charged individually. There is a 10% discount for a third child while all three are at Snaresbrook Prep School. A School Fee Plan is available to pay fees in monthly installments.
