Welcome to Lionel Primary School. We are a diverse and friendly school that serves our local community. We are aspirational for every child, working hard to ensure that everyone is able to maximise their potential in all areas of our curriculum.
Breakfast Club; Kamla's Aftercare (Kamla’s Club)
Speech and Language Centre established at Lionel in 1983; caters for 25 pupils aged 4 to 11; places allocated by Hounslow LA SEND panel; all children have an Educational Health Care Plan; pupils are taught in small, usually mixed-age classes and may join mainstream peers for some lessons.
Priority for admission is given (in order): 1) Children in public care; 2) Applicants whose medical or social circumstances require attendance at Lionel; 3) Families living in the school’s Priority Admission Area (PAA) with an older sibling at Lionel; 4) Families living outside the PAA with an older sibling at Lionel; 5) Distance from home to the school; 6) Remaining vacancies offered to applicants based on distance and other factors. Closing date for Reception admissions for September 2026 is 15 January 2025. In-year admissions are dealt with via the Primary In-Year Common Application form (Hounslow).
