Wrap around care is under the schools direct management onsite at St John’s from 7:30-8.30am for breakfast club and 3.50-6pm for after school club. Termly sessions can be booked in advance and there is also the option for ad hoc bookings including on the day subject to availability and appropriate staffing ratios.

SEND Provision

St John’s has a tailored approach to children with special education needs, with a dedicated resource to support individual requirements with care plans and close collaboration with families.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are for boys aged 3-11 (Nursery–Year 6). Main entry points are Nursery (3+) and Reception (4+), with occasional places for other year groups. Assessments are play-based for 3+ and 4+; older entrants undergo maths and literacy assessments. A confidential pupil reference from the current setting is requested as part of the admissions process. There are two Open Mornings each year; a £120 non-refundable registration fee is required to sit the assessment.

For the academic year 2025/2026, Nursery (full time) £4,549; Nursery (full time with 15 hours free*) £3,555; Pre-Prep (Reception to Year 2) £6,475; Prep School (Year 3 to Year 8) £7,031. Compulsory extras: Lunch (Nursery and Pre-Prep) £280; Lunch (Prep) £320. Fees are due on the first day of each term. EYFS funding provides 15 hours per week for under 5s (12pm-3pm). Direct Debit is the preferred payment method; FIA (Fees in Advance) scheme available; Bursaries means-tested.
