"Together Achieving Lifelong Learning"
Kenmore Park Infant & Nursery School is a UNICEF Rights Respecting school; pupils are taught about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the school promotes rights-respecting Dispositions; assemblies reflect diverse beliefs and significant religious festivals (e.g., Ramadan and Diwali) are marked.
Welcome from Headteacher Mrs. Rutinderjit Mahil-Pooni. The message emphasises a community-focused school that promotes Together Achieving Lifelong Learning, places the child at the centre, and aims to develop resilient, assessment-capable learners within a safe and engaging environment, with strong parental partnership.
The school publishes a SEN policy and SEND offer, has an Inclusion Manager (SENCo), supports pupils with SEN through tailored plans and interventions, collaborates with parents, and works with outside agencies as needed; uses an assess–plan–do–review approach to identify and meet needs.
In Harrow, nursery admissions are for four-year-olds born between 1 September and 31 August; reception admissions are for five-year-olds born in the same window. Offers are made based on a priority order (looked after by the local authority, medical reasons for pupil, medical reasons for parent, sibling link, distance). Pupils with a statement of SEN are dealt with separately by Harrow Council. Nursery admissions follow a birth-date order with additional criteria when applications exceed places.
All education during school hours is free. Voluntary contributions may be invited for educational visits; group music tuition may incur charges. If contributions are not received, activities may be cancelled but non-paying children are not treated differently.
