Vale School provides education for children with identified SEND and disabilities with tailored SEN support. All pupils usually have an EHCP; provision is described in Section A of EHCPs. The school uses PSPs and Annual Reviews to plan and record progress and to set targets; resources are allocated per need; staff liaise with health professionals and therapists to support provision.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are agreed by the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Panel of Haringey’s Children and Young People’s Service, advised by the Educational Psychology Service, in negotiation with the school. All admissions for Haringey residents go through the Local Authority SEN process. For admissions from other boroughs, contact the local or home authority. Vale staff undertake initial assessments and visits to support transfer; the school admits children from Haringey and neighbouring boroughs; out-of-borough admissions inquiries should be sent to [email protected].
