All admissions to St Aidan’s, other than Nursery, are managed by Haringey Council. We are a one-form entry school with places for up to 30 Reception children each year and up to 30 places in each subsequent year group. Nursery admissions details include 15 hours of free nursery education for three- and four-year-olds and, from September 2017, the Government’s 30 hours Free Early Education Entitlement for eligible working parents. In-year admissions are handled with places available periodically; tours can be booked via the school office. Appeals for over-subscribed intake go to the Local Authority. Secondary transfer information is provided in Year 6 meetings. See Induction and Transition Procedure on the school policies page.
Nursery offers 15 hours free entitlement for three- and four-year-olds; 30 hours free entitlement for eligible working families. Daily places from 9:30am to 3:30pm are covered by the 30-hour funding. If required, an extra hour between 8:30 and 9:30am can be added for £30 per week. For those not eligible for the 30-hour scheme, daily full-time places from 8:30am to 3:30pm cost £140 per week (this cost takes into account the weekly 15 hours free entitlement). Nursery funding forms and policies are available via related pages.
