The Pupil Premium is a funding route to support children who have a free school meal entitlement, are looked after or are vulnerable and need additional support. It is separate to Special Educational Needs funding and support funding for children with English as an Additional Language (EAL). The principle we use at Oaklands is EQUALITY FOR ALL. Our Equality Plan identifies how we work towards this, using opportunities like Pupil Premium. For more information about how we develop this at Oaklands, click on the links below: Pupil Premium Strategy Statement 24-25; Equality Statement and Action Plan; Sports Premium Funding Plans and Evaluations; Annual Sports Premium Action Plans 24-25 and 25-26; Financial Benchmarking information.
Oaklands accommodates children from ages 3-11. Nursery admissions priority criteria are: Looked After Child, Child In Need, SEN; then a sibling who will be at Oaklands in September of the following academic year; then no sibling. Spaces are allocated on the distance from the child's home address to the school (straight line) as determined by Ealing Borough. A sibling link is defined as the prospective Nursery child having a brother or sister on roll at Oaklands at the same time they would start. For spaces and induction, please contact Miss McCarthy on 0208 567 5243.
