Welcome to Hobbayne Primary School from Headteacher Sharmaine Yoosuf. The message emphasizes a diverse, inclusive school with a growth mindset, an enriching curriculum, a caring ethos, and a strong partnership with families and the Governing Body.

Curriculum Highlights

Power Maths is used to achieve mastery in mathematics. Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract approach to teaching maths. Unit structure with a unit starter and progression; emphasis on mathematical vocabulary and reasoning.

Wraparound Care

Hobbayne House Wrap-Around Care runs during term time from 7:30am to 6:00pm for children aged 3-11 (Nursery – Year 6). It comprises two sessions: 7:30am–8:35am: Hobbayne House Breakfast Club (breakfast provided); 3:15pm–6:00pm: Hobbayne House After School Club (light snack provided). Attendance must be pre-booked. Payments are cashless and online via ParentMail; charges are invoiced on a four-week cycle and must be paid by the 26th of the month for the following month. They also accept childcare vouchers and Government tax-free childcare; Hobbayne House Unique Reference Number (URN) is 101888 and DFE code is 3072151.
