West Twyford is an inclusive school with SEND provision. The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCO) is Mrs Croyden. The school places great emphasis on identifying pupils with additional needs early and providing a differentiated curriculum to accommodate individual needs. Support may take place in class, in a small group, or on an individual basis. External agencies such as School Health, the Behaviour Support service, or the Educational Psychology Service may be involved as needed. All Local Authorities’ maintained schools in the area support meeting needs in a mainstream setting where possible.
