Welcome to Priory School. Headteacher Julie Evans describes Priory as a vibrant, engaged learning community with the aim for students to lead ‘brilliant lives’ and a values-based approach centered on ambition, respect, courage, pride and happiness.
Priory School provides SEND provision including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behaviour Support, and Allied Therapies; works with families and external services; individualised support for communication, sensory processing, daily living, and social skills.
Priory School is a co-educational secondary special school for young people with severe learning disabilities and autism, aged 11–19. Admissions are governed by the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice. The school is maintained by the Local Authority and entry is through application to the Croydon SEND team. All students will have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health and Care Plan. The local offer can be found on this website.
