Breakfast Club runs from 7.30–8.35 am on school days; After School Club runs from 3.05–6.00 pm with two sessions: Early session 3.05–4.00 pm and Full session 3.05–6.00 pm. The Nest (modular classroom by the field) hosts the Breakfast Club, and the Oaks building hosts the After School Club.

Admissions Criteria

Reception places are allocated by Croydon Local Authority; children start in the autumn term of the year they turn five; Nursery admissions have set sessions with fees for additional sessions; In-year admissions are possible if spaces exist and are processed via the Local Authority; entry to Nursery does not guarantee a place at Smitham; applications for Reception/ Nursery are managed through Croydon LA.

Financial Information

Breakfast Club = £4.50 per day per child. After School Club: Full session = £12 per day, Early session = £2.50 per day. Nursery: main Nursery Day often free (for eligible free childcare entitlements); additional sessions charged at £22 per session; extension to 3:05 pm available for £2.50 per day; Nursery meals for full-day attendance cost £2.55 per meal (paid in advance via ParentPay).
