St Fidelis is a Catholic primary school closely tied to Our Lady of the Angels Parish and the Capuchin Friary. The Capuchin family is part of the wider Franciscan family. The school’s mission is to bring children to Christ through education and to follow Catholic ethos including Evangelisation, Prayer and Liturgy, Catholic Social Teaching and Charitable Giving. The aim of Catholic schools is Evangelisation, Faith Formation, Faith Community and Common Good. The school follows a Religious Education scheme called The Way The Truth and The Life. Two Year 3 classes receive their First Holy Communion at Our Lady of the Angels Church, supported by the school community.

Nursery: School dinner £3.00 per day. Additional hours £6.00 per hour. All families are entitled to either 15 or 30 hours funded childcare. Funded hours are allocated in term time only (matching the school's calendar). Parents may choose packed lunches instead of the school dinner. The Nursery does not routinely charge for consumables (e.g., wipes, sun cream). If a child is not toilet trained, parents must provide a supply of nappies.
