Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School integrates Catholic Social Teaching into curriculum, worship and daily life. The school references Catholic Social Teaching as underpinning its work and highlights principles such as human dignity, the common good, participation, the dignity of work, subsidiarity, stewardship, solidarity, option for the poor, distributive justice and promoting peace. Resources from CAFOD and the use of animal mascots are employed to support understanding of these principles and to encourage students to put their faith into action.
Nursery wraparound options include: 30 hours funded care – no charge – plus lunch cost £2.76 (8:30am–2:30pm); 15 hours funded care with the option to ‘top up’ to 30 hours plus lunch cost £2.76 (8:30am–2:30pm); 15 hours funded care – no charge (5 mornings per week – 8:30am–11:30am). For children attending all day, there is an option to pay for an additional hour until 3:30pm.
