"Together through Christ we grow and learn"
St Vincent's Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school where prayer and worship are central to school life. Mass is celebrated in the local parish Church of St James’, Spanish Place with the whole school attending, and parents are invited to celebrate Mass with their children. Prayer and liturgy are part of daily life, with ceremonies and sacraments such as Eucharist and Reconciliation integrated into the school calendar. The school is dedicated to St Vincent de Paul and aims to live the virtues of compassion, humility and generosity, reflecting Catholic Social Teaching through charity fundraising and community involvement. The mission statement is: Together through Christ we grow and learn, and the school seeks to develop academic, moral, social and spiritual growth for all within the local, national and global community through care, support, responsibility and awareness of self and others. The Catholic life at St. Vincent’s includes Holy Days, liturgies, school Masses, the Sacrament of Reconciliation in KS2, and celebrations such as Nativity, Marian Processions, Ash Wednesday, Lent and Advent activities, as well as home–school links and parish connections to strengthen faith and community.
