SEND Provision

Stepney Greencoat provides SEND and inclusion support through quality first teaching and differentiation in every classroom, practical resources to support additional needs inside and outside the classroom, a dedicated nurture space for individualized support, rich opportunities for speaking, listening and drama, and partnerships with external specialists (including Phoenix Outreach Team, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists). It includes individual education plans where necessary, small group or 1:1 teaching, accessibility features (ramps, disabled toilet, wheelchair access), referrals to occupational therapy or physiotherapy, extensive health care plans prepared with school nursing, Zones of Regulation and Elsa (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) trained staff, regular PSHCE teaching, and termly assessment targets. The SENDCo is Shelley Corsinie and can be contacted via the school office.
