Marner Primary School is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential, with high expectations and a supportive, challenging environment where children are inspired to be the best they can be; the curriculum is knowledge-rich and designed to reflect the multicultural East London community, with emphasis on academic excellence, creativity and empathy to prepare for secondary school and beyond.
Clubs
Breakfast Club available 8am-8:45am; Lunch clubs; After School clubs; Shine On Saturdays programme running 20 Saturdays per year (10am-3pm) for 50-60 students, with themes and activities such as literacy/math/science/technology/nutrition, older pupil mentors, climbing wall, cycling, cookery and art.
Inclusion with high-quality teaching, targeted group and 1:1 interventions in reading, writing, maths and language; specialist support for complex needs; support for pupils learning English (EAL); Pupil Voice opportunities; staff training in SEND support and behaviour routines.
Nursery: up to 26 full-time places and up to 52 part-time places. Criteria include (a) must have been offered a place under prevailing Admissions Criteria, (b) eligible for the additional 15 hour funding for children of working parents, (c) strong medical, social or educational reason for a full-time place.
