Curriculum Highlights

Reception: Power of Reading scheme; seven areas of learning (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design, plus the other early years areas); White Rose Maths and NCETM program Year 2: invasion by aliens; Great Fire of London; geography focus on continents, countries and oceans; life under the sea Year 3: Romans and their invasion; Stone Age; Pompeii; Voices in the Park; writing about the local area Year 4: London and the River Thames; Ancient Egypt; Anglo-Saxons; World Wildlife and Conservation; study of sound Year 5: diversity and Zones of Regulation; focus on development of writing and maths mastery Year 6: Diversity topic including Vikings; Climate Change and Global Citizenship; early Islamic civilisations in art and architecture

Wraparound Care

Wrap around care is offered for Full Time Nursery children. 15 or 30 free hours (if eligible). Lunch is provided on full days. 30 hours extended Nursery is available for eligible children. If you would like to purchase additional hours to make the day full time, it will cost £100 per week.

Admissions Criteria

Open mornings are held every Thursday at 9:30am. Nursery places are funded by the Government for 15 hours a week with 30 hours extended for eligible children. Full-time options include a top-up of £100 per week; lunch is included on full days. Reception places must be applied for via Southwark Council. In-year admissions are available and a Pupil Premium form should be completed. A Nursery application and a 30 Hour Form are provided for applicants.
