Curriculum Highlights

Maths: mastery approach with CPA (concrete-pictorial-abstract), fluency focus, ‘Fluent in Five’, NCETM/White Rose alignment and end-of-unit assessments. Computing: Kapow computing scheme; digital leaders; wide hardware availability and online-safety emphasis. Geography/History/Art/French/Music/PE: topic-based curriculum with cross-curricular links; use of schemes like Kapow for Art and Language Angels for MFL; Lewisham Music Service for instrumental lessons. Outdoor Learning: Forest School in Golden Garden; weekly Forest School for EYFS–KS2; access to external locations and Year 6 Dorset trip for outdoor activities. Admissions Criteria

Admissions information indicates places are allocated for reception and years 1–6; the school is often oversubscribed. Priority is given to siblings, and nearest distance from home is considered. Home address must be permanent; addresses of childminders or relatives are not accepted. If moves occur, attendance and punctuality are considered. Applications are made via www.eadmissions.org.uk and proofs of permanent home address are required. Waiting lists are maintained for one year and appeals can be made to the Local Authority.

Financial Information

Lunchtimes: lunches for KS1 and KS2 are free under the London Mayor’s Free School Meal initiative. Nursery lunches cost £2.50 per day. Packed lunches must contain NO nuts, sweets, chocolate bars, fizzy drinks, or peanut butter sandwiches. The school is nut-free.
