"Where everyone learns to learn"
Religious Education is a vital part of our curriculum — nurturing curiosity, respect, and understanding of the diverse world in which we live. Rooted in the Lewisham Agreed Syllabus and guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), our RE curriculum inspires children to explore faith, belief, and meaning with openness and empathy.
Rathfern Primary School is a warm and inclusive community where every child is valued and supported. We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning and a sense of responsibility toward each other and our planet.
Wraparound offers Breakfast Club (7:45am–8:45am) with breakfast items, and After-School Club with contracted bookings (£11.50 per session) or ad-hoc bookings (£12.70 per session). Breakfast Club costs £3.10 per day and is free for children in receipt of Free School Meals. After-School Club provides snacks and a range of activities including sports, arts, cookery, and home learning support.
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Policy outlines how Rathfern Primary supports pupils with additional needs to ensure they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. It explains our approach to identification, provision, and collaboration with families and external agencies.
