St Mary's is a Catholic primary school with a mission centred on Jesus Christ. Religious Education is central to the curriculum, with 10% of teaching time devoted to RE and using the Come and See scheme, weekly liturgies, and faith formation in partnership with the parents and parish. The school aims for excellence in RE and religious literacy.

Curriculum Highlights

Religious Education curriculum based on Come and See with 10% of teaching time for RE and weekly liturgies. EYFS and KS1/KS2 progression documents and a broad curriculum aligned to the National Curriculum. Curriculum includes diverse texts and world cultures, local history (Clapham Sect) and World Art. Phonics taught using Read, Write, Inc. Music is central to school life with class music weekly, instrument lessons, choirs, orchestra and jazz band. Maths Week and engagement with Maths England themes and related art projects.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Sunsets After School Provision runs from 3:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Permanent bookings are £15 per session per child; Emergency or ad hoc bookings are £17 per session per child. Sibling rate available (£14.50 per day). Children must be collected by 6:00pm. Admissions Criteria

St Mary's is a voluntary aided Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Southwark. Catholic children have priority of admission. It intends to admit up to 30 pupils into the Reception class in September 2026 (PAN). Nursery admission does not guarantee a Reception place and applicants must reapply for a Reception place. Non-Catholic applicants are welcome if they support the school's religious ethos.
