Curriculum Highlights

Music education includes Kodaly-based singing and whole-class instrumental ensembles with performances. Design & Technology teaches structures, mechanisms, textiles, electrical systems and food products with sustainability focus, following a 5-step project process. Spanish language taught via Primary Languages Network with native-language support and Junior Translators for newcomers to English. Reading and Phonics taught with Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised; The Literacy Tree approach; Accelerated Reader and MyOn used for reading. Mathematics taught using White Rose Maths with Mastering Number in KS1; no streaming; concrete-pictorial-abstract progression; emphasis on problem solving and fluency. Geography curriculum includes fieldwork, SDGs integration, and connections to STEAM; emphasis on local-to-global learning. Science uses six enquiry skills and connects topics to scientists from various cultures; emphasis on independent investigations and critical thinking. PSHE uses Jigsaw programme with weekly assemblies linking to school vision and values; floor books document pupil thoughts. Computing uses Teach Computing curriculum with progression in digital literacy, computer science, information technology and online safety. Religious Education follows Jigsaw RE with enquiry-based learning to promote empathy and respectful dialogue. Art and Design explores diverse styles and influences with a clear creative process.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am to 8:45am; After School Care runs from 3:15pm to 6:30pm. Breakfast Club cost is £6.00 per day (emergency booking £6.50). Weekly rate for Reception to Year 6 is £5.50 per day (£27.50 per week); additional siblings £5.00 per day (£25.00 per week). After School Care costs £18.00 per day for pupils from Reception to Year 6 and £18.50 per day for Nursery. Emergency booking on the day is £22.00. Weekly rate for Reception to Year 6 is £16.00 per day (£80.00 per week) with sibling discount £14.50 per day (£72.50 per week). A late collection fee of £10 per child for every 5 minutes applies if not collected by 6:30pm. Payments are in advance via the online payment system.

Admissions Criteria

Applications for a school place are made directly to the local authority. Reception admissions open 1 September 2025 with a deadline of 15 January 2026; outcome on National Offer Day 16 April 2026 and a response required by 30 April 2026. Nursery admissions are managed by the school (15 full-time places and 40 part-time places). In-year admissions are handled by Lambeth School Admissions.
