Headteacher Mr J Muhammad welcomes families to Paxton Primary School, describing Paxton as an inclusive and vibrant community focused on Achieve, Respect and Care, with a commitment to removing barriers to learning so every child can thrive.
Wraparound care services are provided by Junior Adventures Group (JAGs). Breakfast Club 7.30 - 9.00am - £6.90 per session; Afterschool Club 3.30 - 4.30pm - £10.90 per session; 3.30 - 6.00pm - £15.75 per session; 4.30 - 6pm - £12.95 per session. Enrichment Clubs are run by Paxton staff in collaboration with external providers. Holiday Camps operate during half terms, the Easter break, and the first four weeks of the Summer. Booking details are managed through the wraparound care system.
Paxton believes every child is unique and is committed to eliminating barriers to learning and ensuring equality of opportunity for all pupils, with involvement from the child, family and school staff in planning support.
Admissions are managed by the local authority. Nursery places are available for children born between 01/09/2022 and 31/08/2023 (September 2026 intake). Reception places are available for children born between 01/09/2021 and 31/08/2022 (September 2026 intake). In-year admissions are handled by the local authority.
