SEND Provision

Academic Mentoring Department (AMD) provides learning support with a neurodiversity-informed approach, using assistive technology (iPads, laptops), study skills sessions, memory techniques and revision strategies; supports pupils across age ranges; includes before/after school mentoring and a large staff team to enhance learning and wellbeing.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions include separate entry processes for 11+ and 16+. There are entrance examinations (11+ English and Maths; 16+ papers in Mathematics, Writing and General Problem & Critical Thinking), followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates. The school accepts students who are British or Irish citizens or have the right to live in the UK; it does not sponsor Child Student visas. The school has an inclusive SEND policy and emphasizes viewing needs early in the admissions process, with references required from current schools and a process that includes registration, deadlines, and assessment of learning support needs.
