Admissions Criteria

Nursery admissions note: 42 places are available each year. Priority is given first to looked-after children or children who were looked after but immediately after became subject to an adoption, residence or special guardianship order; followed by children who are subject to a Child Protection Plan; followed by children whose acute medical or social need justifies a place; followed by children with a brother or sister on roll at the school (reception to year 6); followed by distance to the school. Distances are measured straight-line; ties may be decided by lottery. The school may also consider SEN statements in admissions. Rainbow Nursery (2 year olds) offers 2- and 3-year-old provision; 42 spaces for nursery admissions; applications can be made directly to the school; required documents include birth proof, address proof, and child’s red book. Information about 15 hours free childcare for 2-year-olds is available via the Hackney Learning Trust/Childcare Choices route.
